Neuroeducation is the instinct of homeschooling families. You want your child to have the freedom to learn in the most natural ways. And learning is the most natural thing a child can do.
Every family finds their rhythm in non-traditional education. BBC students not only love to learn, they design their own structure to do so. Every child gets a personalized skill plan and chooses their day-to-day journey of developing their skills. Studies show that consistent routines stimulate the brains of children in a way that improves academic, emotional, and neurological development. We do not sacrifice how nature designed the learning process of children. We support families in designing a lifestyle centered around it.
Our programs encourage exploration, teamwork, and strength-building through outdoor activities that connect the body and mind. By engaging with nature, participants develop resilience, coordination, and a deeper understanding of their own physical potential.
Cultivating a spirit of community fosters a sense of belonging, emotional well-being, and cooperation in children, helping them develop strong social and leadership skills. When children feel supported and connected, they build confidence, empathy, and resilience, empowering them to thrive in all areas of life.
Teaching children integrity instills honesty, responsibility, and accountability, shaping them into trustworthy and principled individuals. By practicing integrity in everyday decisions, they develop strong life skills such as impeccable self-care, ethical leadership, and the ability to build meaningful relationships based on trust.
An educational experience that prepares your
child for a boundless future.
“If it takes a village to raise a child, what does it take to raise the family? Sometimes the boundary is our insistence on ultraindependence. We must teach our children the value of community life and what better place to do so than their education.”
-Thema Azize Serwa, Founder & Director
Personalized instruction, tons of play, lifestyle based learning, and accelerated academic success is the BBC curriculum. Covering all 4 core subjects, our PK-12 academic program meets all 50 state standards and standardized tests, if you ever decide to take them. Our program offers 17,000+ skills and is deeply adaptive.
Each day at BBC we start with a socratic learning circle where children are able to clear their minds before starting their learning time. The children then clearly define their intentions for the day. Then we dive into active learning time in core learning subjects. We close out the day with play led learning (recess).
To empower families to feel confident in choosing a different approach to educating their children. We also want to offer relief for families choosing a non-traditional education path without sacrificing academic success and the integrity of learning. We also create a relaxed, engaging, and fun learning community for children.
